About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Associate Instrumentation Engineer to work on the development and testing of instrumentation systems, with a focus on analog sensors. In this role, you will be responsible for PCB wiring, sensor calibration, troubleshooting, and integrating sensors with data acquisition systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and accuracy of our sensor systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in analog sensors, PCB wiring, and a strong understanding of electronics and instrumentation systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test instrumentation systems for various applications, particularly focusing on analog sensors.
Assist in PCB wiring, assembly, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning of sensors and circuits.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sensors with data acquisition systems and IoT platforms.
Perform calibration and validation of sensors to ensure accurate measurements.
Provide support for ongoing maintenance and upgrades of instrumentation systems.
Contribute to the development of technical documentation and reports.
Assist in research and development to improve sensor performance and reliability.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices in instrumentation design.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to analog sensors, wiring, and circuitry.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of analog sensors and instrumentation.
Hands-on experience with PCB wiring and assembly.
Understanding of sensor interfacing with microcontrollers and data acquisition systems.
Proficient in using testing and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good understanding of electrical circuits and signal processing.
Familiarity with embedded systems and programming for sensor integration.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with engineers from different disciplines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (BE/BTech).
Experience in PCB wiring and working with analog sensors is required.
Strong academic background with knowledge of instrumentation principles and electronic components.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in sensor calibration and testing.
Familiarity with IoT systems and cloud-based platforms for sensor data management.
Knowledge of CAD software for designing and modifying PCBs.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements.
Good communication skills for technical documentation and reporting.
